Rich Carson has been playing the guitar and writing songs since he was 12 yrs old.

At 17 Rich started playing in pubs and clubs with bass player and friend Pete Mills. Then in 1979 Rich met Guitarist Graham (Mash) Murray who at the time was on tour with Cliff Richards Rock Band.
In 1980 Rich and Graham started writing songs together in Richard’s Mum and Dad’s garden shed where Rich had his studio. They approached a Publisher in London 18 months later and were advised to put a Band around the material.
In 1981 they formed “The Click” band in Woking, Surrey, Pete Mills on Bass, Pete (Will) Williams on Drums, Rich Carson on rhythm guitar and lead vocals and Graham (Mash) Murray on lead guitar. The band gigged extensively throughout Surrey and London. Winning the New Sounds competition in 1982 they were revered by Maurice and Robin Gibb from the Bee Gee’s, they continued their success nationally followed by a large loyal fan base. The Click continued to perform live throughout the 1980’s and recorded with session musician/producer Chris West who mentored them whilst also working with Stomu Yamashta, Rick Wakeman, EarthBand, Richard Ashcroft, Liberty X, Patti Boulaye, Uriah Heep and Status Quo.
Music Manager John Glover (Blueprint Management) whose list of artists include Free, Joe Cocker, Spencer Davis Group, Mott the Hoople, Jim Capaldi, Manfred Mann’s Earth band, ABC, Go West, Beverley Craven, Victoria Beckham and Tony Hadley, signed the band in 1982 put them on tour in the UK and abroad and very quickly got the Band signed to a record label. Whilst writing songs for the band Rich was also writing material for Solo artists and in 1987 he left “The Click”. At this time Rich was writing songs for Publisher John Merritt of Welk Music Publishing/Polydor and continued to work with Will Williams and Songwriter/Guitarist Mike Lealman, writing songs for various artists and collaborating with musicians such as Mark Fisher of Matt Bianco, Womac and Womac, Saxofonist Neil Martin and Chris West. Later in 1996 Rich became co-owner of a recording Studio in Woking, “Wychwood” its clients included songwriter/performer David Knopfler from Dire Straits and Song writer/Producer Tim Laws who was then writing for The lighthouse family and Gabriel.
In 2007 Rich left Surrey and moved with his Family to a hamlet just outside Kingsbridge in South Devon, where he set up a Pro Tools Studio. After being introduced to song writer and Keyboard Player James Fowler, whose client list include Free-Ultra Nate, M+S ( Salsoul Nugget), Kathy Denis, David Morales and Brandon Block, they began writing together. James had previously been working for PWL and performed on many of Ministry of Sounds first chart records as well as supporting Jools Holland’s Big band and writing original Broadcast music for Channel 4. With his Dance Music influence and Rich’s Rock Music roots, they have been working together since, writing for a variety of music industry connections including Producer/songwriter Ray Hedges who has worked with Take That, Tom Jones (XFactor), etc.
Rich and James have a catalogue of songs working with vocalists spanning many genres from dance, ballads, rock, country, through to dubstep. With their extensive song writing and production experience they cover all aspects of music, song writing, recording, and production.
